Not all surfaces are equal. Paint should not be treat like gel coat and there are alot of different paints that should be treated differently from each other. Be wary of companies that try and convince you otherwise. If someone applies a heavy grind on a gel coat every time eventually they will wear out the dense layer and the gel coat will become harder and harder to achieve a shine, if someone does a heavy grind on a painted surface it will be destroyed in not time at all. So it is a skilled hand that can determine whether a surface needs a heavy polish or a gentle polish. AUTO GLYM SUPER RESIN POLISH, this is a fantastic partner to the meguiars mirror glaze. It removes the swirl marks left by the softer carnauba wax and seals the top surface with a harder more durable surface that allows for regular washdowns, adding this protective layer that compliments the shine beautifully.
